Opening Ceremony followed by Walk of 2 kms and Light Reception
Is a powerful, striking one-day event to honor, awareness, draw attention, educate the public, to the issue of missing and murdered aboriginal women and girls, and their families in Canada.
A collection of donated red dresses will be hung along Highway 21 as a visual reminder of the women and girls who are no longer present. Red uniting humanity in the spirit of this cause. A chance to call back of the spirits of these women and girls and allowing them a chance to be among us and have their voices heard through their family members, community and ensure they are not forgotten.
Red dresses can be dropped off prior to event at Skimmerhorn Inn 2713 Highway 3 or bring with you for hanging on Sunday
